I am a textile and mixed media artist based just outside the wonderful city of Bath.

One of my joys is my collection of fabrics - but it is also an embarrassment filling much more space in my house than I can spare.

I resolved to buy no more fabric this year or next and to work on diminishing the stash. I am slowly but surely using up some of my store of Liberty scraps but still cannot resist acquiring more plain white fabrics (recycled if possible) for dyeing and printing.

My work is greatly influenced by my environment, especially my beautiful waterside garden and the lovely village in which I live, but inspiration can strike from anywhere and in addition to working with fabric, I am enjoying creating mixed media pieces incorporating my own collage papers.

Most of all, I love experimenting, long may that last!
